Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms out there.  You have a very hard job and do it really well!

On this first Mother's Day, I can now truly appreciate my own mother.   What a transformation Wade has caused in my life!  I feel honored that God has entrusted me to be Wade's mother, and I feel very blessed to have my mother and mother-in-law in my life.

On this Mother's Day, we were able to participate in our church's Parent Commitment Service, a time to publicly commit to raising your child in a Christian home and to dedicate your baby to the Lord.

These scriptures perfectly express our feelings about raising Wade.

1 Samuel 1: 27-28

²⁷ I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. ²⁸ So now I give him to the LORD. For his whole life he will be given over to the LORD.” And he worshiped the LORD there.

Psalm 127:3

³ Children are a heritage from the LORD.

We love you.  We have been praying for you since before you were born and will continue to pray for you everyday for the rest of your life!
