Adventures in Crafting - Celebration Banners

So I'm thinking about starting my own little side business.  It all began with my dislike of baby mums.  I wanted something on the door of my hospital room for when Wade arrived.  I had an intense fear that a baby mum would appear if I didn't take matters into my own hands.

I had seen something like these on other people's facebook photos.  I researched and finally stumbled upon a girl's blog who was selling them.  I thought about ordering one from her, but I thought they were a little pricy.  Then in mid-December, I was put on bed rest.  What a perfect project for me to tackle when I couldn't go anywhere or really do anything!

I made one for Wade.  I plan on using it every year at his birthday parties - well, every year he will let me use it. (24" x 36")

Then, I made one for a shower decoration/ baby present for a friend in our Sunday School class.  It's now hanging on her door in my friend's house. (18" x 24")

After that, my sister-in-law hinted that she would love to have one for her daughter's, Avery, first birthday party.  So, off I went painting and crafting again. (24" x 36")
