The weekend was filled with many creative and artistic activities.
My mom, sister, and I decided to have a girls night out. We enjoyed an evening of pizza, wine, and painting at Painting with a Twist in Fort Worth.
Kim was the most serious of the 3 of us. Everything had to be the best!
Mom was very precise with her painting. Everything had to be "just right" and in the right place!
I just wanted to have a good time and come out with a painting full of color.
Watch as our paintings evolved!
The final product!
It was interesting to see how our personalities were reflected in our paintings... all very similar, but distinctively different! I highly recommend Painting with a Twist. We had a fantastic time.
Also, we went to the Main Street Art Festival in downtown Fort Worth. I have been looking for some pieces to add to our living room. (Recently, we have been working on giving our living room a little "face lift." I will post more about that later.) We found the perfect prints at a booth. Studio DiStefano had whimsical prints and paintings of birds, owls, and other animals. I fell in love!
Here's a sample of the work we purchased.
We had a great time channeling our inner Monet, Picasso, and daVinci!
