So we planned our vacay, arranged for childcare split between the grandparents, and off we went! We found a resort off the coast of the Dominican Republic on its own private island. (Thank you Tripadvisor!) We enjoyed our 5 days away at the Gran Bahia Principe Cayo Levantado. Relaxation, sun, food, drinks, and even some whale watching! Here are a few pictures from our trip.

Everyone should take an adult vacation about a year after you have a child! We had a wonderful time and must do it again soon!
