Now you see, White Christmas is a huge Christmas tradition in the Appel household. We watch it every Christmas Eve (or thereabout) and eat tamales! This tradition started when I was about 10 years old. I love the dancing, the costumes, the music, the storyline, the feel-good feeling it gives you, I love it all!!
We were so excited to see that it was playing on stage at Bass Hall. We bought our tickets the day they went on sale in October! So Friday, Kim, Jim, Jason, and I went on a double date to see it. My parents kept Wade while we were at the show, and they went to a matinee. We had so much fun! The storyline was basically the same. Some of the songs were in a different order. Some scenes from the movie were missing. But it was just as magical as the movie! It even snowed in the performance hall!
We had a great weekend celebrating the holidays in Fort Worth!! Our date reminded me of when Jason took me to The Nutcracker when we were in college.
