A Houston Reunion

A few weeks ago, we traveled to Houston to visit Kevin, Janet, and their golden retriever Dixie.  We broke our track record of seeing them once a year (even though Janet and I talk all the time)... we have seen them twice in 6 months!! This time, we brought Brinkley to play with Dixie.  Jason and I quickly realized that we are just fine with having only 1 dog... 2 was pretty crazy and the hair was UNREAL!

Our plan was to take Wade and the pups to the beach for the first time.  Unfortunately, it rained - It hadn't rained in the Houston area all summer!  Kevin and Janet told us we could come back anytime if we brought rain with us.

We went to the aquarium, ate great food, and relaxed around their house watching movies.  A perfect little quick getaway... although getting to Houston is no quick trip.  At least we got to stop at Buc-ee's along the way!
