Christmas Review 2011

So I blog in chunks.  Sometimes I'm really into it, sometimes I'm not.  We have been super busy, so today I am going to make some time to catch up.

There is nothing like Christmas with your child!  Christmas becomes more fun and more special when you have children.

Our first holiday celebration happened the weekend before Christmas with the Reinhardts in Waco.  Even with his first ear infection, Wade enjoyed opening presents and spending time with the family!  Wade took some of his first steps this weekend, but of course, he didn't want to walk anytime we got the camera out.

For Christmas Eve, Kim and Jim came in from Fort Worth to celebrate with us!  We spent the afternoon at Gigi and Big Daddy's house.  They were so excited to give Wade is Cozy Coupe Fire and Rescue truck!  Wade is obsessed!  He pushes the siren button and honks the horn.  All of the adults are ready for him to be able to push himself, but for now we will continue to push him, because he LOVES it.

Mimi and Opa gave Wade Jason's childhood "My Buddy."  Wade loves to kiss him and "be sweet" to him.

We enjoyed a huge brunch, full of new recipes and delicious favorites!  We had a wonderful time, praising God for all of the blessings He has given to us, especially the gift of Christ!

full and blessed.
